Sometimes Korea Makes Me Laugh

These ads are on the Seoul subway system. They're for dandruff shampoo with natural ingredients like pine needles and cacti. They make me laugh. I think I'd rather have dandruff than cacti or pine needles coming from my head.

Yeah, it doesn't give me a lot of confidence to try it.

"Hmm . . my hair is now made of pine needles. Must be the shampoo."

and

"Oooh, cactus on my head. Was this a good idea? Will this trend catch on?"

For the sake of the pine needle lady, I can only say that I hope it's not a deciduous pine!

On our recent visit to Korea we had some plastic wrap in our apartment - it was called "well-being wrap".

Maybe these models need a little dose of well-being wrap on their noggins!

I love your blog, except it makes me realize how little of Korea you can actually absorb in 2 weeks! Thanks for sharing with us.
