Nihao from Beijing!
I can post to my blog from China, but I can't read it, compliments of the Chinese government's internet censorship program. I read that an estimated 10% of all websites are inaccessible from mainland China, including anything to do with the Tianamen Square protests of 1989, Taiwan, the Dalai Lama, democracy, Marxism . . .
Here are the sites I tried to access tonight, with no success:
Snapshots from Korea
American Embassy in Beijing
US State Department Travel Information
CNN
BBC
Wikipedia
Because of this, I will write my journal entries long-hand in my notebook this week and post them, along with pictures when I'm back in Korea next week.

My cousin and her hubby are living in China now and are unable to check ANY of their friends' blogs...apparently Mommavia's site is too iffy for the chinese government!
I think probably all blogspot sites are blocked, though the main site is accessible. I was able to post to my blog from China. I just couldn't access it to read it. I've read that the blocks are occasionally lifted, and I've had hits to my site from mainland China but not many.
Try www.anonymouse.org and then type in the web address.
I was able to read my blog from this site but not post. To post, I sent my blogs back to the states and a friend posted it for me.
Thanks for the tip! I'm back in Korea now, but I'll try that if I'm in China again.
