Gyeryongsan National Park
Jackie organized another hiking trip this weekend. We went to Gyeryongsan National Park in the central part of Korea. I was feeling pretty worn out because of a cold and chest congestion, and I wasn't able to keep up so well. The park was crowded, and it was cold out. As we were going up, I got warm and took my coat off, but when I stopped moving, I got quite chilly. It was an enjoyable weekend with a good dinner at the end. Cheers to Jackie for another successful outing.

Hiyo, I like your blog's description of korea, I read it occasionally and especially when I'm doing research and preparing to go to korea. (: Regarding your Jeju experience, I'm planning to climb Hallasan as well. Could I please find out more about which motel you stayed in before your climb?
Hi Corinne. Please send me an email message, and I'll be glad to share some information with you. I have heard that all but one of the Hallasan trails are closed right now because of a recent typhoon, so be sure to check with tourist information before you go. Please email me. emherbert(at)gmail(dot)com.
